The Mockingbird Society

Gain Leadership skills and learn how to advocate for your rights. The Mockingbird Society trains young people who have been homeless or in foster care to be their own best advocates. By doing so, they change policies and perceptions that stand in the way of every child having a safe and stable home, and a loving family. The monthly chapter meetings include training on public speaking, civic engagement, connection to peers, leadership opportunities and training, and skill building.
