Advocacy

Our mission is to create positive change, taking back voice and power by offering more collaboration with and for youth and young adults (YYA), more supportive and structured housing and more support to all YYA in all stages of their lives.

What is the Youth Action Board?

The Youth Action Board members have the responsibility of fulfilling this mission in Pierce County. To do so, they will provide oversight for decisions made in the community that impact YYA experiencing housing instability. This includes providing feedback on systems that service YYA, offering new ways to connect with and service YYA, and collaborating with community partners and other YYA to ensure successful outcomes for all YYA.
